With two games left in the regular season the Bull's playoff hopes are in their controle as they are on top of the Toronto Raptors by a slim one game lead. The Bulls took a one game advantage over the Raptors after last night's game that took place in Toronto. The Bulls came out firing last night and showed that they really wanted that eigth spot in the NBA's Eastern conferance. The Bull's jumped out to an early lead continued their success. Toronto got the game down to single digits in the third quarter before Derrick Rose took over. Rose had a game high 26 points in a Bull's 104-88 victory. With two games left this win means a lot right now but will mean nothing if the Bulls can't take their next two games.
It will be very tough for the Bull's, who have one game lead, to win the next two games in which they play the Eastern's number four seed the Boston Celtics and the Charlotte Bobcats. The game on tuesday night agianst the Celtics is a meaningful one as the Celtics are one game back of the Atlanta Hawks for the number three seed. The Bobcat's should be a game that the Bull's will be able to win. The Raptors on the other hand have a very easy final two games as the play the Detroit Pistons and the New York Knicks. Unfortunately the Raptor's will get the 8th spot if they tie.
If the Raptors loose both games, the games the Bulls play will not matter. If the Raptors win one of the two games they play, the Bulls will need to match that. If the Raptor's win both games, the Bulls will be required to win both of the games they have to make the playoffs.
